Meet Genia Philip

Genia Philip is a woman who wears many hats. As a philanthropist, she tends to gravitate towards organizations that share her belief in helping people by showing them how to be self-sustaining, rather than doling out charity. Working with the Youth Investment Council (YIC), one of Genia’s passion projects was CareerOneStop, the 1-2-3 headstart program of life enrichment through guided job research, training, and placement for youths in the tri-state area. Genia is also a member of the Prudential Foundation, which guides people towards gainful employment, helps them obtain and nourish assets, and improves the status of communities in the long term.
